Announcement text from the City of Charlottesville webpage on the 2018 Comprehensive Plan Update:

Over the next year Charlottesville will be undertaking an update to the City’s Comprehensive Plan. This Plan is our vision as a community that guides decision making processes for such matters as Land Use (development and growth), Housing (affordability and access) and Transportation (all modes of transit and parking).

Public Process

A series of workshops will be held in May-June 2017 to gather feedback from the community on how the update to the Comprehensive Plan should be shaped. The Public is encouraged to attend one or all of these workshops and be a part of the process. All four workshops will be identical in format and information covered.
