Welcome to The Piedmont Environmental Council’s 2023 Farm-to-Table Dinner and Virtual Auction site! 35 years ago, The Piedmont Environmental Council held its first gala to raise funds to implement its mission and support its programs. Over time, the format of the gala has transformed from private dinners to a farm-to-table dinner using ingredients grown on farms featured in PEC’s Buy Fresh Buy Local guide. Yet the event continues to bring the community together in support of PEC.

We thank our hostess, Caroline Collomb, for inviting us to Oakwood Farm in Warrenton, Virginia. Beautiful views, delicious locally-sourced food, music and laughter will await you at Oakwood Farm on September 16, 2023. Benefactors and Platinum Sponsors will start the evening with a champagne reception at the historic house, which has hosted many dignitaries before such as the Marquis de Lafayette on his visit to the United States in 1824 and the Duke and Duchess of Windsor in 1941, who stayed with the then-owners of Oakwood, the Larrabee family.

Whether you will join us for the Farm-to-Table Dinner or participate in the online auction, we are grateful for your support of this important event, which allows PEC to continue its work in our four focus areas, as outlined in our strategic plan: conserving and restoring the Piedmont’s lands and waters, creating stronger, more sustainable communities, shaping and advancing Virginia’s clean energy future, and setting an example through land ownership.
