Samantha Eley joined The Piedmont Environmental Council team in July 2024 and serves as the Data Center Reform Campaign Coordinator. Based in our Warrenton headquarters, Samantha covers outreach and supports coordination of  our statewide data center advocacy campaign across.  

Before joining PEC, Samantha completed a Master’s degree in Journalism and Public Affairs at American University and worked at the Union of Concerned Scientists as a research associate in food and agriculture policy. 

Samantha lives in Washington. D.C. and spends her spare time riding her horse, baking, exercising, and being bullied by her cat, Rose!
