Montana is from the Virginia Piedmont and grew up on a farm on Bull Run Mountain, where she developed a deep appreciation for the region’s rural beauty, open spaces, and tight-knit community. Her strong connection to the area, coupled with a passion for conservation, inspires her dedication to supporting nonprofits that protect the region and its culture.
Montana attended the Hill School in Middleburg, VA, Foxcroft School, and Radford University, where she earned a degree in Recreation Parks & Tourism with a concentration in Special Events and a minor in Business Marketing. She has since gained valuable experience in the nonprofit sector, with trade associations, serving as an Office Manager and Event Coordinator at the Great Meadow Foundation and Director of Operations at Buchanan Hall.
With a passion for community events and a commitment to promoting inclusion, justice, and connectedness, Montana supports a broad range of PEC events. She leads operations for the annual Farm-to-Table Dinners, Annual Meetings, the Next Generation cohort and supports various Conservation, Land Use, and Advancement events. She is excited to contribute to an institution that is vital in preserving the Virginia Piedmont.
