What's going on and how you can get involved
Last year, citizens mobilized to prevent changes to the local plan for growth that would have jeopardized Orange's rural character, and they succeeded. Now it's time to take proactive measures to keep growth to sensible pace and protect rural land.
Orange is a leader in private land conservation with over 25,000 acres protected, including more than one third of the land in the Madison Barbour Rural Historic District.
