Blackburn provides overnight accommodations to hikers and a trailhead to the Appalachian Trail. A strenuous 8 mile hike to the south will take you to the noted Devil's Racecourse and back.

- Caretakers are in residence April to October.
- There is a trailhead parking lot.
- Connects to the Appalachian Trail
