As part of our 10th Anniversary celebrations, Scenic Virginia is holding a first-ever Scenic Virginia Viewshed Photo Competition. Scenic Virginia wants to see Virginia through your eyes, and are seeking scenic photographic beauty in the following five categories: Coastal Scenes/Chesapeake Bay, Mountains, Open Space/Farmland, Rivers/Waterways, Urban Beauty. A panel of experts will choose a winner in each of the five categories.

Entry Deadline: September 1st, 2008

Prizes include:
$50 honorarium
Recognition at the 2008 Scenic Awards ceremony in November
Mention in Scenic Virginia's "Yes, Virginia!" newsletter
Featured on Scenic Virginia's website

One photo will be chosen the overall winner. In addition, the top prize-winning photograph will be:
Featured on our 2008 Holiday card
Considered for publication in Virginia Living magazine.
