Fauquier Native Maggi MacQuilliam Joins PEC Staff

June 10, 2008 - Warrenton, VA

PEC is proud to announce that Maggi MacQuilliam, a Fauquier native, has joined our staff as the new Land Conservation Program Assistant.

As part of her duties Ms. MacQuilliam will be taking over such important projects as managing the easement database and helping to organize land conservation seminars and events. Maggi will also be assisting the Director of Land Conservation, Heather Richards, with conservation projects, particularly within Fauquier County.

After graduating from Fauquier High, Ms. MacQuilliam attended George Mason University and received her undergraduate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Urban Planning and Geography. There she was Vice President of the Urban Studies Student Association and interned for the watershed scientist at the James River Association. After graduating Maggi attained a position with the Department of Conservation and Recreation's Division of Natural Heritage.
